The Ambassador II Corporation is located in Palm Beach, Florida. The building is a 9-story, 96-unit condominium that was constructed in 1968. It consists of reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing with concrete masonry exterior walls.  In 2017 Hellas Engineering was retained by the Condominium Association to perform a full building structural investigation. Between December 2018 and August 2020, Hellas Engineering oversaw extensive structural repairs to the building which also included waterproofing of the balconies and exterior painting. In 2023, the Association retained the services of Hellas Engineering to perform an updated structural investigation of the building for insurance renewal purposes.

Century Village at Boca Raton is a 55+ community located in Boca Raton, Florida. Dating back to 2021, a dozen or so Condominium Associations in the community have retained the services of Hellas Engineering to perform structural building investigations and to oversee structural repair projects. The Client list among others includes the Ainslie Condominium, the Rexford Condominium, the Yarmouth Condominium, the Wolverton Condominium, the Newcastle Condominium and the Cornwall Condominium. Each Condominium Association consists of anywhere from four to nine buildings varying from 2 to 4 stories.

The Eastpointe Condominium II is located in Singer Island, Florida. The building is a 24-story condominium that was constructed in 1976. It consists of post-tension reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing, concrete and masonry exterior walls.  Since August 2020, Hellas Engineering, both as Engineer of Record and Special Inspector, has been overseeing extensive structural repairs to the building, which included post tension cable repairs and exterior painting.

The Claridge Condominium is located in Pompano Beach, Florida. The building is a 24-story, 198-unit condominium that was constructed in 1972. It consists of post-tension reinforced concrete slabs, and concrete framing concrete masonry exterior walls.  In 2019, Hellas Engineering was retained by the Condominium Association to perform a structural investigation. Between September 2020 and July 2022 Hellas Engineering oversaw extensive structural repairs to the building, which included post tension cable repairs and exterior painting. During that period, Hellas Engineering also provided the Association with the documentation required for the building’s 50-year structural recertification.

The Bay Country Club Condominium is located in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The building is a 13-story, 80-unit condominium that was constructed in 1981. It consists of post-tension reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing, and window walls. In 2015, Hellas Engineering was retained by the Condominium Association to perform a reserve study. Between 2016 and 2022 Hellas Engineering oversaw extensive structural repairs to the building, which included post tension cable repairs, new railing installations, exterior painting, and waterproofing and seawall concrete repairs. During that period, Hellas Engineering also provided the Association with the documentation required for the building’s 40-year recertification.

The Palm Beach White House is located in Palm Beach, Florida. The building is a 3-story, 41-unit condominium that was constructed in 1964. It consists of reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing with concrete masonry exterior walls.  In 2016, Hellas Engineering was retained by the Condominium Association to oversee concrete repairs and waterproofing of two balcony areas. In 2020, Hellas Engineering was again retained by the Condominium Association to oversee extensive structural repairs to the building, which included concrete repairs, new railing installations, exterior painting, and waterproofing of the catwalks and balconies. 

The Passages of Jupiter Island is located in Jupiter Island, Florida. The building is an 8-story, 40-unit condominium that was constructed in 1982. It consists of post-tension reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing with concrete masonry exterior walls.  In 2021, Hellas Engineering was retained by the Condominium Association to perform a structural investigation. Between 2021 and 2023, Hellas Engineering oversaw extensive structural repairs to the building, which included post tension cable repairs, railing replacement, waterproofing and exterior painting. 

The Reef Club Condominium is located in North Miami Beach, Florida and was built in 1980. The property has a total of four 6-story, 50-unit buildings.  The buildings are constructed of post-tension reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing, with concrete masonry exterior walls. Hellas Engineering has been retained by the Condominium Association to perform a full structural and electrical investigation for the buildings’ 50 year recertifications. Hellas Engineering is overseeing extensive structural repairs to the building, which include post tension cable repairs, railing  installations and repairs, exterior painting, and waterproofing and new window and sliding glass door installations on all four buildings. Upon completion of the project, Hellas Engineering will be providing all the documentation required for the buildings’ 50-year recertifications.

The Ocean at Jupiter Bluffs Condominium North is located in Jupiter, Florida and was constructed in 1985. The community has four 5-story residential buildings. The structures have a concrete reinforced slab design with the exterior walls erected with metal framing and an exterior insulation and finishing system (EIFS). Over a period of four years, between 2016 and 2020, Hellas Engineering oversaw extensive façade repairs to the EIFS and metal framing on all four buildings. The project also included the installation of new large missile impact windows and sliding glass doors, which were also inspected by Hellas Engineering.

The Cypress Ridge Apartments are located in Pompano Beach, Florida. The building is a 2-story, 16-unit condominium that was constructed in 1964. It consists of reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing with concrete masonry exterior walls.  In 2022, Hellas Engineering was retained by the Condominium Association to perform a structural investigation of the building. In 2023, Hellas Engineering oversaw extensive structural repairs to the building, which included concrete repairs, new railing installations, exterior painting, and waterproofing of the catwalks. During that period, Hellas Engineering also provided the Association with the documentation required for the building’s 50/60-year recertification.

The Seagate Condominium is located in Highland Beach, Florida and was constructed in 1970.  The condominium consists of four 20-story buildings of reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing and masonry exterior walls. Hellas Engineering has been retained by the Condominium Association as both Engineer of Record and Special Inspector to oversee extensive structural repairs to the building catwalks and envelopes, as well as the carport structures on all four buildings.

The Turnberry Village Condominium is located in Aventura, Florida, and was constructed in 2007. The condominium consists of two 14-story residential towers and one 5-story parking garage structure. In 2018, the Condominium Association retained the services of Hellas Engineering to perform a structural investigation of the parking garage structure. Hellas Engineering, as both Engineer of Record and Special Inspector, oversaw concrete restoration in the parking garage and expansion joint repairs on the pool deck which is located on the roof of the garage. Following completion of the garage restoration project, the Association retained the services of Hellas Engineering to perform a full structural investigation of the south residential tower.

Ponce Plaza is a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Miami, Florida. The building is a 4-story structure that was built in 1968. It consists of reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing, and concrete masonry exterior walls. Between 2019 and 2020, Hellas Engineering oversaw extensive structural repairs to the building, which included concrete repairs, and exterior painting as well replacement of the cooling tower steel support structure on the roof. During that period, Hellas Engineering also provided the Owner with the documentation required for the building’s 40-year recertification.

The 9291 Glades Road Medical Office Condominium is located in Boca Raton, Florida and was built in 2004. The structure is 3-stories and has a concrete reinforced slab design with concrete masonry exterior walls with stucco band finishes. In 2018, Hellas Engineering was retained to perform and investigation of the building envelope to address reported water intrusion and structural issues. Hellas Engineering oversaw extensive façade repairs to the building envelope which also included exterior painting.

The Juno by the Sea North Condominium (The Surf) is located in Juno Beach, Florida. The building is a 7-story, 49-unit condominium with a detached parking garage structure and pool deck that was constructed in 1975. The structures consist of reinforced concrete slabs, concrete framing, and concrete masonry exterior walls. In 2022, Hellas Engineering was retained by the Condominium Association to perform a structural investigation of the residential tower and the parking garage. Hellas Engineering is the acting engineer of record and special inspector for a full building restoration project which includes concrete repairs, waterproofing and exterior painting.

The Village East Condominium is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The community has eleven residential buildings with premanufactured wood truss roof framing and tile roofs. In 2021, the Condominium Association retained the services of Hellas Engineering to perform a visual inspection of the roof framing. Further, Hellas Engineering performed an inspection of the exterior tiled roofs via Drone. In 2023, Hellas Engineering oversaw a rehabilitation project which included structural reinforcing of the roof trusses and replacement of displaced and damaged roof tiles.

The Sherwood Lakes HOA is located in Greenacres, Florida. The community has 150 residential buildings two-story quadruplex townhouses with combination flat roofs and perimeter mansards. In 2022, the Condominium Association retained the services of Hellas Engineering to oversee the re-roof of all 150 buildings. 

The Sunrise Lakes Condominium Phase I is located in Sunrise, Florida. The community has 32 residential buildings with combination flat roofs and slightly elevated perimeter mansards. In 2020, the Condominium Association retained the services of Hellas Engineering to perform an investigation of the roof areas on 21 of the 32 buildings. In 2021 and 2022, Hellas Engineering inspected the roof replacement of the 21 investigated buildings. 

The Coastal Arms, Inc. is located in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida. The condominium has two wings with a flat roof surface. In 2020, the Condominium Association retained the services of Hellas Engineering to prepare specifications for a roof replacement project and to assist with the bidding and contractor selection, installation inspections and construction administration. 

The Lakes of Newport Condominium is located in Plantation, Florida. In 2020, the Condominium Association retained the services of Hellas Engineering to prepare specifications, assist with bidding and contractor selection and oversee the roof replacement on two of the 4-story residential towers.

The Silver Thatch Atlantic Condominium is located in Pompano, Florida. Since 2015, Hellas Engineering has provided Engineering Services to the Condominium Association for various projects, including concrete restoration, painting and waterproofing. Hellas Engineering was also retained by the Association to oversee the replacement of the flat roofs on both 17-story towers. Hellas’ scope of work included the preparation of specifications, assistance with bidding and contractor selection and inspections of the new roof installations.
